Yesterday was held at the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca the delivery of the Pyme of the Year awards of the Balearic Islands 2021, in which Robot, S.A. was awarded as the best SME of the Year 2021, an award granted by the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca together with Banco Santander and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
Bernat Bonnín, CEO of Robot, S.A. has been in charge of collecting the award, and declared that “During this time of pandemic we have maintained the ability to continue innovating to offer our clients the best solutions once they normalize their activity. We are committed to Balearic R&D as an engine of development and an indispensable element for the diversification and modernization of our economy”.
The jury, which met on June 9 to assess the 59 applications submitted, assessed Robot, S.A. as follows. ”Robot its commitment to innovation and internationalization. Despite the difficulties of the moment, the company increased its line of innovation and kept the market open in 6 different countries following its expansion plans. In addition, the number of employees with permanent contracts increased”.
In this same ceremony the following prizes have been awarded:
- Accesit for Internationalization to Huguet Rajoles Hidràuliques
- Accesit for Innovation and Digitization to Inehealth Team SL
- Accesit for Training and Employment to Instalaciones y Gestiones Energéticas S.L.
- Accesit to the Responsible Company to Agromallorca SAT
- Special mention to the best initiative in the fight against Covid-19 for Sanitary Service Balear.
- Special mention to the social work of Sonrisa Médica
The event was attended by the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Antoni Mercant; the general director of Economic Promotion of the Balearic Government, Manel Porras; the territorial director of Santander in the Balearic Islands, Celia Torrebadella; and, the president of the Serra Group, Carmen Serra.
Robot, S.A. candidate for the 2021 National SME of the Year Award
At the beginning of 2022, the gala of the National SME Award of the Year 2021 will be held in Madrid, in which the winning company will be chosen from among all the winners in each province.
