The first American patent for Multilink technology consists of an automation device for mounting on a DIN rail, which separates the communication module from the application module.

The technology company Balear Robot, S.A. Obtains its first US patent for its Multilink technology.

The United States Patent Office (USPTO) has granted Robot, S.A. American Patent US 11,081,816 B2, which consists of an automation device for mounting on a DIN rail, and which is composed of a communication module and an application module.

Multilink technology separates the communication module from the application module (pushbuttons, dimmers, etc.) obtaining a versatile product compatible with the main automation systems on the market such as KNX, BACnet and SiSLink, among others.

This device is part of the panel material used to automate a room, controlling functions such as lighting or air conditioning, among others.

Following Multilink’s European patent no. 3654117, which refers to an automation device to be embedded in an electrical box, this new American patent opens the way to the internationalization of ROBOTBAS technology in new markets.

The patent application for devices with Multilink technology is the same for both markets, but the order in which they are granted depends on each Patent Office.
