The Robot Scholarship covers the total cost of the Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering

Joan Bennasar Pons is the student of the Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering degree who won this year’s Robot Scholarship. After presenting his project entitled “Development of a power inverter for educational purposes” and being valued by the jury that awards the scholarship, yesterday he was named the winner and will therefore benefit from the full enrollment of the Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering that he will develop between 2021 and 2023.

The Robot Scholarship, held for the third consecutive year and carried out in collaboration with the Fundación Universidad Empresa de les Illes Balears (FUEIB) and the Escuela Politécnica Superior (EPS) is an initiative of our company to support young students of engineering who want to continue their training and who seek to develop their professional career in our islands.

The event was attended by the Rector of the University of the Balearic Islands, Dr. Jaume Carot; the vice-rector for Innovation and Digital Transformation, Dr. Loren Carrasco, and the president of Robot, S.A., Mr. Bernat Bonnín. Also in attendance were the managing director of the University-Business Foundation, Mr. Lluís Vegas; Dr. Miquel Roca, professor in the Electronic Technology Area; Dr. Jaume Verd, professor in the Electronic Technology Area, Dr. Gabriel Cardona, director of the Higher Polytechnic School, and Dr. Víctor Martínez, director of the Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering.
