II Edition of the Robot Scholarship

We are pleased to announce that the bases of the II Call for the Robot Scholarship have already been published. This scholarship created by Robot last year, pays for 100% of the Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of the Balearic Islands for a student of the Degree in Industrial Engineering at the UIB.

In these moments in which our society continues to undergo a major health crisis that affects all sectors, and in which education has been particularly affected, it seems to us especially important to continue supporting the training and future of the young people of our islands.

Joan Darder, winner of the Robot Scholarship in 2019 declares that “The Master in Industrial Engineering is a continuation of the training as an engineer that allows us to better understand the possible job opportunities to which we can have access. This has been a year of long work, and despite the inconveniences caused by Covid-19, we have been able to obtain the required knowledge”.

Regarding the Robot Scholarship, he adds that “Initiatives such as the Robot Scholarship are a way to reward the effort of students and encourage motivation to face new studies, in addition to allowing to initiate a contact with the company that will be very useful at the time of access to the labor market “.

In order to carry out this initiative, the collaboration of the Fundació Universitat-Empresa de les Illes Balears (FUEIB) and the Higher Polytechnic School of the UIB (EPS) has been essential once again.

The main requirements to access this scholarship is to be a student of the Degree in Industrial Engineering at the UIB, to have presented the TGF, to have pre-enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering at the UIB and to have applied for the scholarship application before the October 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
