Robot awards scholarship to ultracompact domestic hypertrophy training device project by Bartomeu Morey

Robot remains committed to fostering the education of future professionals and promoting innovation and technological development. In this sixth edition of the Robot Scholarship, the award has been granted to Bartomeu Morey for his project, “Proposal for an ultracompact domestic hypertrophy training device.”

This project, which captured the jury’s attention for its revolutionary approach, promises to transform the way people exercise in small spaces. The device stands out for its compact and functional design, without compromising on quality or safety during training.

Bartomeu Morey, a Mechanical Engineering graduate, has been awarded full funding for the Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of the Balearic Islands through this scholarship. This recognition honors his academic efforts and aims to support him in completing his education before entering the professional workforce.

The award ceremony, presided over by the Executive President of Robot S.A., Bernat Bonnín, took place yesterday, February 4, and was attended by prominent figures from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), including Dr. Jaume Carot, Rector of the UIB; Dr. Lorenza Carrasco, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Digital Transformation; Dr. Maurici Mus, Vice-Rector for Graduate and Lifelong Learning Policy and Management; Dr. Antoni Mesquida, Deputy Director of the Polytechnic School; Dr. Víctor Martínez, Director of the Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering; Dr. Miquel Roca, Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Construction; Dr. Ramon Pujol, Head of Studies for the Degree in Electronic Engineering; and Mr. Luis Vegas, Managing Director of the FUEIB.
